How has the Met Gala come to this? Rita Ora and Doja Cat lead starlets going semi-naked at

JG Ballard's The Garden of Time was the theme for this year's event, but celebrities seem to have become confused and dressed for The Garden of Eden instead. Rita Ora led the way with the barely-there looks, donning little more than a body stocking with a few strategically placed tassels for the main even, before flashing her nipples at the after party with just a floral arrangement protecting her modesty. Meanwhile, rapper Doja Cat wore a white wet Vetements dress; going braless and without underwear to show off her figure to the max, before changing into sheer tights and a top for the after party.

The word of caution was provided by private equity fund manager Grant Cardone Sunday, as the Dow wrapped its third positive day in a row. Prior to that growth continuing Monday, the 66-year-old real estate investor said the state of the US stock market is a cause for concern. This has only happened three times in the past century, he said - citing crises in 1929, 1974, and 2009 that came after the invert.

Met Gala 2024 WORST-dressed stars revealed: Amelia Gray Hamlin dons bizarre BLOW-UP dress

The Met Gala is arguably fashion's biggest night of the year - but several celebrities stepping out on the red carpet this evening at the prestigious event proved that it is also a prime example of when a desperate desire to make a style mark can go horribly wrong.  For while many guests at this year's gala wowed and awed with their fashion looks, several suffered such disastrous style fails that they left the red carpet looking more like a Halloween parade. The dress code for this year's event is The Garden of Time, which pairs with the new exhibition that it is being held to honor: Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion, a somewhat ironic title given that several of the attendees looked much like they had just rolled out of bed and straight onto the red carpet. Stars including Amelia Gray Hamlin (far left), Cara Delevingne (right inset), Jessica Safferty (second right) and J. Harrison Ghee (second left) were hard to miss as they turned one of fashion's biggest nights into a freak show.

Prince Harry's doppelgänger was working at the Met Gala last night as social media users were taken aback when they thought the royal was lifting dress trains.
